Barcelona established itself as a reference point for climate innovation by hosting the first edition of Climate Dialogues, an event that brought together investors, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders from the sustainability-focused tech sector. Organized by Inclimo Climate Tech Fund, BStartup by Banco Sabadell, Zubi Labs, and Norrsken Barcelona, the meeting highlighted the urgent need to drive transformative innovations and create a global collaborative ecosystem to tackle the climate crisis.

The roundtable, moderated by Fernando Casado (Inclimo), featured experts such as Jaime Vera (EIF), who addressed the role of public capital as a catalyst to mobilize investment into climate solutions; Benedikt Buchspies (Planet A Ventures), who presented comprehensive approaches to assessing environmental impact; and Danijel Višević (World Fund VC), who emphasized Europe’s role in leading the transition towards a decarbonized economy. Kirsten Rocca (DCVC) also highlighted the need to support technologies capable of transforming entire industries.

The event sent a clear message: Barcelona is positioning itself as a hub for climate innovation, building a global ecosystem to scale transformative technologies. Climate Dialogues seeks to establish itself as a continuous forum where science, capital, and collaboration converge to address the most urgent climate challenges.
